KEN BASHAM

Ken has the ability to bring the best of individuals together to develop a team second to none, having the best strategic partners in all areas needed.  He finds ideas that will soar to the top in the entertainment and business field. He is always on the lookout to combine two or more concepts into a new and dynamic idea. He has the entertainment, computer and persuasive background to create a very dynamic media plan truly utilizing the past, present and future technology. He has traveled between his office in Arizona and Hollywood and now has an office in Studio City, California to work in both markets.

He believes that within everyone there is a winner or a star waiting to emerge. To this goal he will only work with professionals as team members that know how to help him bring that out in clients. Professionals that will help the person bring out their comedic talent, the actor within.

Our focus is to help develop publicity and marketing strategies, pitch and develop scripts, produce films and television shows and to work with creative and performing talent as well as the support professionals. 

COACHING AND MENTORING

Ken is constantly studying ways to improve on his coaching and mentoring skills. He has mentored the start-up careers of several talents that are now working their way up the LA, Chicago, New York and Paris circles of recognition. 

HOLLYWOOD AND TALENT

Talent must understand that coming to Hollywood is like going to war, if you don't prepare day and night, if you don't reach the level that you can knock out the competition, if you listen to other actors who haven't made it without discerning what is real, then you are going to waste time. Hollywood is loaded with people hiding from success and they not being focused thinking kidding themselves they have all the time in the world as they party on DUDE.

So to face yourself you might have to admit you don’t know it all and can’t see your blind spots nor the development path you need to take. NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE YOU ARE YOUR OWN WORST ENEMY. The Pride of not being able to admit that you are wrong and righting the wrong is very self-destructive.

KEN’S PRE-HOLLYWOOD

He was an assistant to the director and stage manager of an Arizona local comedy theatre.Louis Anthony Russo was the greatest Improv and stand-up comedy instructor in the world. No one has been able to duplicate his technique or style.

He  has produced beauty pageants, political rallies, debates and buzz media events, has emceed stand up comedy at Star Theatre and TGIF's. 

He was executive producer and publicity agent for some very successful dinner theater shows at an Arizona Dinner Theatre.  He has the privilege of having Olga Korbut as a publicity client and one of the great four time Olympic Gold Medal winner in gymnastics.

He has been a radio talk show host in Indiana, Illinois and Arizona and has been involved in the production of infomercials, commercials and has acted as talent in commercials himself.

He has been a partner in a Commercial Cable Channel and has produced a number of successful cable televisions shows with programs on politics, entertainment, a dating show, sports, religion, travel, a teen talk show, a show on UFO"s-called "The First Encounter", and the "The Ken Basham Show", a television talk show

Ken has been a guest on numerous shows and stations including KFYI in Phoenix. In radio he helped produce the "Sam Steiger" show, was a host on WYCA in Indiana, WKKR and WLNR in Illinois and on KXAM and KXEG in Arizona. Ken was a co-host of the "Hot Tub Radio Party", a national radio show.

His work as publicist and political operative had him doing out of the box stunts, opposition research, web strategies, strategy development and the hard core grunt level work to help sway elections as well as establishing one of the top political clubs in Arizona during a very troubled political time. He has been behind the scenes of many successful political campaigns of both parties believing in the integrity of the candidate over political party. Although a Republican on some issues but he is probably more of a DEMREP (not to be confused with a dim wit). This is a new party he envisions that will represent the issues of the people, not the special interest of the lobbyist or locked into one party or the other.

 He worked for a very controversial governor in Arizona and was his field press agent. He founded the East Valley Republican Club, becoming the major publicity voice and directing street and media strategy during his short term and fight against his impeachment and concurrent effort to recall him. 

FIELD OF NAPRAPATHY AND MY EDUCATON

My undergraduate degree is in Liberal Arts, Theology and Counseling, my graduate work as a Doctor of Naprapathy, my post graduate is in Chiropractic, Clinical Nutrition, Acupuncture, Physical Therapy and Massage Therapy. I have completed training and have worked as a paralegal, coming back to entertainment field as my first love.

My skill set has been increased by having trained and worked in many different areas; one area was in pushing and prodding to be to help to shape the argument for licensing of Doctors of Naprapathy in Illinois and losing the battle at a personal cost of $100,000 in Indiana. Three years ago Naprapathy was granted full licensure in the state of Illinois. Getting frustrated with the politics of the medical and natural health fields, I decided that media, politics, publicity, marketing and the entertainment areas is a path to helping people and I could be a catalyst for change.

BUSINESS LIFE

I have been as an entrepreneur where I successfully started, managed and sold several business in the health field, the family entertainment field and has been semi-successful in the publishing field. I have mentored people in business or wanting to be in business on how to acquire, start and set up operating strategies for their business dreams.

I have gone through real estate investing booms becoming a millionaire starting with $500.00. I have owned as investments publications, a small chain of Health Food Stores, Video Arcades and a miniature golf course.

The 9/11 tragedy challenged me financially in taking down a new 7500 square foot film studio in Scottsdale Arizona that I was developing with a partner. I transmuted Avalon Underground Media Center to Avalon Media Management and have operated it since adding a Los Angeles office, December 16, 2007.

I am a single parent and have raised two daughters.
